Role Description

The Director/Senior Manager, Marketing Communications role is responsible for driving the strategy, execution and measurement of inspiring marketing materials and compelling communications that showcase the purpose and value of the SIC for external customers and internal audiences. The scope of work is wide-ranging from key messages and comms strings to beautiful assets and masterful visual presentations. This role collaborates with and manages a designer and a content strategist who help bring the strategy to life in a fun, fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and activate external customer-facing marketing materials and communications to be leveraged by our Sales and Customer Success teams to attract customers, set expectations and drive followup including email templates, overview deck, brochure, video and external Trailhead trail.
  • Create a content calendar & strategy to deliver a constant drumbeat of internal Sales and CSG team enablement campaigns (marketing materials and communications) to inform, inspire and enable them to appropriately and effectively leverage the SIC as a long-term relationship builder and closing tool.
  • Execute integrated, multi-channel marketing programs (videos, podcasts, web activations, etc) with goal of driving impact.
  • Develop a communication journey to be used by our strategists to take customers and account teams on a journey through their SIC experience that builds excitement, educates, sets expectations and makes spending time with us seamless and fun.
  • Conduct user research across Salesforce internal and external stakeholders to assess needs and make recommendations for SIC comms strategy (audience, key messages, campaign, channels, cadence, etc.).
  • Run point on internal business presentations used by the head of the SIC to report results and influence stakeholders (SIC quarterly reviews, strategy and growth presentations, etc.).
  • Dynamic personality with ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance, in a fast-paced environment amidst multiple priorities and goals under tight deadlines
  • Lead a team and program across multiple regional portfolios and ensure the effective execution of goals

Required Experience And Skills

  • 7+ Years product marketing, marketing, design, exec communications, internal communications, enablement, and/or PR experience
  • Excellent storytelling plus presentation design skills required
  • Working mastery of Google Slides, Powerpoint, InDesign, and Photoshop required
  • Working knowledge of webinar, video creation and hosting platforms, social media a plus.
  • Highly organized and energetic leader with a passion for developing people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Creative writer with content marketing experience
  • Live and virtual event experience a plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and urgent deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate a complex organization to drive projects from idea to execution fast
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment
  • High energy, charismatic, innovative, and wildly creative – with the execution skills to make it all count
