Technical PM: Monetization Platform – Accounts & Entitlements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to own Accounts & Entitlements, one of the core pillars of our Monetization Platform: what a customer can use and how much, and how that entitlement is granted, changed, and tracked. It’s a greenfield mandate, sitting right at the boundary between Billing and our Products platform. It is what actually turns our pricing strategy into revenue, so this role sits close to the center of how Manychat monetizes.

The role also carries Identity: who’s allowed to act on an account, including service accounts and AI agents.

This highly cross-functional role unites product thinking, growth strategy, and commercial insight, grounded in a deep understanding of core platform technology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own the entitlement catalog and lifecycle: features, capabilities, limits, and how access is granted, changed, or revoked.
• Own account structure: provisioning, ownership, suspension, and deletion.
• Own usage metering: attributing usage to the right account and entitlement.
• Enable the Growth team to run experiments on entitlements and packaging in a near self-service way, without needing you or Engineering in the loop for every test.
• Maintain a tight, well-defined boundary and working partnership with “core” billing, so entitlements stay correct as pricing and packaging change.
• Own identity and access at a lighter level: authentication, roles, permissions, and membership for human users, service accounts, and AI agents.
• Prepare entitlements and accounts to support agentic commerce — AI agents purchasing, upgrading, or managing access on a customer’s behalf.
• Partner broadly across the organization — Engineering, Design, Support, Legal, Security, Platform, and GTM among others — to keep the model coherent as we scale; this cross-functional reach is a key part of the role.
• Own key metrics: revenue protected through accurate entitlement enforcement, time for customers to get full access after a purchase or plan change, and customer-facing access issues (and the churn and support cost they drive).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5+ years of Product Management experience and/or some deep knowledge in the domain, with hands-on ownership of accounts, entitlements, permissions, or packaging at companies offering recurring subscriptions with a complex catalog.
• Strong fluency in entitlements, account structure, or core monetization/billing platforms and their pricing/packaging adjacency — this is the core of the role.
• A track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional, high-stakes initiatives end-to-end, and of actively seeking out feedback that challenges your own assumptions rather than confirms them.
• Comfort working directly with data models and engineering trade-offs — this is a technical PM role, not just a roadmap-and-stakeholders one.
• Ability to execute fast, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills — you can align a wide range of partners across the company, from Engineering and Billing to Support, Legal, Security, and GTM, around a shared model of accounts and access.

• Experience at a company spanning both self-serve and sales-assisted customers, where entitlement needs differ by segment.
• Background at a multi-product, subscription-based SaaS company.
• Experience with a systems-design or modeling exercise for an entitlement catalog or an organization/role model
• Identity/access-management background (RBAC, SCIM, IAM), or experience designing access control
