About Finom

Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.

We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.

Finom’s platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We’re actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.

At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.

Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.

Senior Product Managers — Four High-Impact Opportunities at Finom

Product · Full-time · Remote

About Finom

Finom is building the financial operating system for European entrepreneurs and SMEs—bringing banking, payments, invoicing, accounting and financial management together in one platform.

We’re hiring four Senior Product Managers across some of our most important product areas:

Risk Intelligence

Customer Experience — Trust & Risk

Activation & Growth

Integrations

Each role has a distinct mission, but all four offer genuine end-to-end ownership. You’ll define the problem, shape the strategy, work directly with customers and cross-functional partners, and remain close to execution until your work is delivering measurable customer and commercial impact.

We prototype and learn quickly, including using AI tools to test ideas before committing significant engineering time. Our Product Managers partner with Engineering, Design and Data as peers—and are expected to make the commercial case for what they build, not simply manage a backlog.

1. Senior Product Manager — Risk Intelligence

You’ll lead the cross-functional squad responsible for the risk signals and eligibility decisions that Finom’s products depend on.

As Finom expands into areas such as credit, savings and payment acceptance, we need a centralised risk and eligibility platform that can support multiple products without slowing them down. You’ll shape this platform from an early stage—defining its vision, architecture, roadmap and commercial impact.

What you’ll be doing

Own the strategy, roadmap and outcomes of the Risk Intelligence squad.

Define and build Finom’s central risk and eligibility platform.

Shape how credit, savings, payment acceptance and future products consume risk capabilities.

Turn complex risk, data and compliance requirements into scalable product components and interfaces.

Partner closely with Engineering, Machine Learning and Risk teams.

Design experiments that demonstrate the engine’s impact on revenue, risk and customer outcomes.

Keep existing risk signals reliable while building the platform’s next generation.

Why join this team?

This is not a maintenance or delivery role. You’ll help create a multi-product platform that does not yet exist, with significant autonomy and visibility across Product leadership, regulators and potentially the board. It is a rare opportunity to define how risk decisioning works inside a fast-growing European fintech.

The skill set we’re looking for

Experience owning a risk engine, decisioning, scoring or eligibility product.

Risk-product experience across multiple products or a genuinely complex platform.

Strong systems thinking, including components, APIs and cross-product dependencies.

Confidence working with model-performance metrics and experiment design.

The ability to challenge Engineering, Data and ML partners with evidence.

Experience operating in a regulated, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

An AI-native, hands-on approach to product management.

Experience with EU AML requirements, decision-engine platforms or hands-on ML and analytics would be valuable, but is not essential.

2. Senior Product Manager — Customer Experience, Trust & Risk

You’ll lead the squad responsible for how customers experience Finom’s risk and compliance interventions.

Document requests, payment verification, transaction holds, limits and account closures are among the most stressful moments in a customer’s relationship with a financial platform. Your mission will be to ensure that customers understand what is happening, know what to do next and reach a resolution as quickly as possible.

What you’ll be doing

Own the customer experience of risk and compliance interventions across web and mobile.

Lead the Customer Experience squad’s strategy, roadmap and outcomes.

Replace fragmented emails and forms with clearer, increasingly conversational and AI-native experiences.

Build shared customer-experience infrastructure that other Trust & Risk teams can use.

Speak directly with customers to understand friction, confusion and silent churn.

Define metrics connecting intervention friction with satisfaction, NPS and retention.

Align Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Care, Engineering, AI and Data around shared solutions.

Balance customer empathy with non-negotiable AML and regulatory requirements.

Why join this team?

This is a horizontal role with impact across the entire Trust & Risk domain. You’ll own the moments when customer trust is most vulnerable—and have the opportunity to transform necessary compliance interventions into experiences that are clear, fair and fast.

The skill set we’re looking for

Strong customer-experience craft, including journeys, messaging, edge cases and service recovery.

Experience shipping products for high-stakes or emotionally charged customer moments.

A record of taking products from discovery through to launch and measurable impact.

Strong stakeholder leadership across complex team boundaries.

The ability to create a measurement system from scratch and use it to guide decisions.

Customer discovery skills grounded in direct conversations and behavioural data.

Comfort designing within regulatory or operational constraints.

A practical, AI-native approach to prototyping and shipping.

Experience in trust and safety, financial crime prevention, disputes, collections or conversational AI would be particularly useful.

3. Senior Product Manager — Activation & Growth

You’ll focus on turning newly onboarded customers into engaged, retained Finom users.

The challenge is not simply getting someone through registration. It is helping each entrepreneur reach meaningful value quickly—whether that means issuing a card, receiving a payment, sending an invoice or making Finom part of their everyday financial workflow.

What you’ll be doing

Own key parts of the customer activation and early-retention journey.

Define what meaningful activation looks like for different customer segments.

Identify and remove friction across onboarding and the first product experience.

Build a structured experimentation roadmap across customer journeys, messaging and product education.

Use behavioural data and customer research to identify the highest-impact growth opportunities.

Develop personalised and contextual experiences that guide customers towards their next best action.

Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing and CRM teams.

Connect activation improvements to retention, revenue and long-term customer value.

Why join this team?

You’ll work on one of the clearest drivers of Finom’s growth: helping more entrepreneurs experience the platform’s value and continue using it. This is an opportunity to influence the full customer journey, run meaningful experiments and see a direct connection between your decisions and company growth.

The skill set we’re looking for

Strong experience in product-led growth, activation, onboarding or retention.

A record of improving measurable funnel and customer-behaviour outcomes.

Deep understanding of experimentation, including hypotheses, success metrics and guardrails.

Strong quantitative judgment combined with qualitative customer insight.

Experience designing personalised journeys or behavioural growth loops.

The ability to move between strategy, hands-on discovery and rapid delivery.

Commercial thinking—you understand how customer behaviour connects to revenue and lifetime value.

Experience working in a fast-moving, cross-functional product environment.

Fintech, subscription, marketplace or B2B SaaS experience would be useful, but evidence of driving activation and retention at scale matters most.

4. Senior Product Manager — Integrations

You’ll help make Finom more valuable by connecting it with the wider financial and business software ecosystem used by European SMEs.

Our customers rely on accounting platforms, payment providers and other operational tools. Your role will be to make the movement of financial data between those systems reliable, scalable and easy to understand.

What you’ll be doing

Own the strategy and roadmap for Finom’s integrations ecosystem.

Identify the integrations that will create the greatest customer and commercial value.

Lead integrations with accounting platforms, financial partners and third-party providers.

Define reusable platform capabilities rather than building each integration as a one-off.

Work with Engineering on APIs, data flows, reliability and technical trade-offs.

Partner with external providers and influence their roadmaps when required.

Improve how customers discover, configure and use integrations.

Define metrics covering adoption, reliability, customer value and commercial impact.

Why join this team?

Integrations are central to Finom’s ambition to become the financial operating system for European SMEs. You’ll help turn Finom from a standalone product into the connected centre of a customer’s financial stack—combining technical platform work, customer discovery and strategic partnerships.

The skill set we’re looking for

Experience delivering integrations, APIs, platform products or technically complex B2B products.

Confidence working with engineers on data flows, system boundaries and integration trade-offs.

Strong product judgment: you can separate high-value ecosystem opportunities from low-impact requests.

Experience working with external partners and managing dependencies outside your direct control.

The ability to learn complex new domains quickly and drive progress through ambiguity.

Strong customer discovery and commercial prioritisation skills.

A hands-on mentality and willingness to remain close to delivery.

Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Previous accounting-software or fintech integration experience is valuable, but we are equally interested in highly driven platform Product Managers who can learn the domain quickly.

What all four roles have in common

We’re looking for Senior Product Managers who:

Own outcomes, not just roadmaps or delivery plans.

Talk directly to customers and use data to test their assumptions.

Can move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.

Prototype and validate ideas quickly, including through AI-assisted workflows.

Partner with Engineering, Design and Data rather than handing over requirements.

Create clarity and alignment without waiting for someone else to do it.

Understand the commercial impact of their product decisions.

Are comfortable making decisions in a fast-changing scale-up environment.

You won’t be expected to choose between the four opportunities without context. During the interview process, we’ll explore your strengths, interests and experience, introduce you to the relevant leaders, and identify where you can have the greatest impact.
