About the role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to own customer and business problems end-to-end behind blockchain infrastructure: understand the opportunity, shape the solution, ship it, measure the outcome, and keep improving it in production. You’ll work across backend services, infrastructure workflows, developer experience, and customer-facing product, partnering with product, platform, DevOps, support, and sales to turn real customer and operational needs into simple, scalable products.

This is a product-first role. Strong product judgment and end-to-end backend ownership are the core. Platform and infra depth (Kubernetes, IaC, on-call) is a strong plus, not a gate. We care that you understand what customers are trying to do, how your decisions move revenue, retention, adoption, and support load, and how to turn that into shipped work.

Responsibilities

• Own product initiatives end to end: from problem definition through spec, build, rollout, measurement, and iteration.
• Turn ambiguous customer and operational problems (provisioning, reliability, scalability, observability, deployment, pricing, usage) into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
• Build backend services, APIs, internal tools, and customer-facing capabilities that make blockchain infrastructure easier to provision, operate, and scale.
• Spot friction, reliability risks, scaling limits, and missed opportunities, then drive practical fixes from concept to production.
• Define and improve the metrics that matter: activation, adoption, provisioning time, deployment success rate, operational cost, incident frequency, support volume, retention.
• Use AI across the workflow (research, specs, implementation, testing, analysis) to move faster, with a high bar for verifying what it produces.
• Work across product, engineering, DevOps, support, and sales, and communicate decisions, trade-offs, and risks clearly in writing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, ideally in backend, product, platform, or distributed systems roles.
• A track record of owning projects end to end: discovery, design, build, test, deploy, measure, iterate.
• Strong product sense. You connect technical work to customer value, commercial impact, and measurable outcomes.
• Solid backend experience building production services, APIs, and integrations in a modern language.
• Real understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous and event-driven architecture, and the reliability trade-offs.
• Hands-on with at least one message broker or event-streaming tool (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Comfortable operating what you ship: CI/CD, observability, and basic production ownership.
• A practical AI-native workflow. You use coding and research agents and debugging assistants to speed up design, implementation, testing, and analysis, without dropping your bar for correctness.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Go in production.
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, or similar).
• Blockchain integration via RPC APIs, or operating blockchain client nodes.
• Web3 infrastructure: validators, indexing, node orchestration.
• Building self-service products, internal tooling, or deployment and automation systems.
• Planning practices (RFCs, ADRs, PRDs, spec-driven development) and the writing to back them: proposals, runbooks, briefs.
• Working directly with customers, support, or sales to turn friction into product improvements.
• Usage-based products, infrastructure pricing, or B2B SaaS metrics.
