We work closely with Social, Community, Communications, Creative, Production, and other teams to bring those experiences to life. Our work connects human stories with integrated marketing programs that build understanding and inspiration with our key audience.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager to identify and curate the strongest proof points of AI’s impact—across people, communities, and society—and turn them into stories and programs that resonate.

You’ll be a builder and storyteller with the curiosity to uncover an extraordinary story and the initiative to make something of it. You’ll seek out people using AI in meaningful ways, build relationships, understand what has changed for them, and help them share their experiences in their own voices.

Working deeply with Social, Community, and Communications, you’ll shape stories together and build the programs, content, and distribution plans that help them travel. That could mean developing a recurring story series, bringing a community’s experience to a national audience, or turning a customer story into a program that invites others to participate.

You’ll combine strong editorial instincts with integrated marketing leadership, taking work from discovery and a clear brief through production, launch, and measurement. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable shaping an ambitious idea, facilitating a conversation with a story participant, and organizing the people and resources needed to bring a program to life.

In this role, you will

• Find the strongest proof points: Proactively discover people, communities, and customers using AI in meaningful ways. Evaluate the evidence, human significance, and audience relevance behind each opportunity.
• Build alongside Social, Community, and Communications: Partner from the outset on story discovery, creative ideas, programming, and distribution. Align on a shared plan, clear roles, and the right moments to bring stories to audiences.
• Turn stories into programs: Create integrated campaigns, recurring content series, community activations, and partnerships that give strong stories a life beyond a single asset or launch.
• Connect national reach with local relevance: Adapt stories, formats, messengers, and programs to the audiences and communities they serve. Identify when a local story can resonate nationally and how a national program can become meaningful locally.
• Lead work from idea to delivery: Own briefs, creative development, production, timelines, budgets, partner coordination, launch, and optimization across social, owned, earned, experiential, community, and relevant paid channels.
• Champion craft and credibility: Partner with Creative, producers, and agencies to make distinctive, engaging content. Ground stories in demonstrated impact, bring technical ideas to life through human experiences, and represent participants accurately and thoughtfully.
• Build a repeatable approach: Develop a network of internal and external partners and a practical process for sourcing, prioritizing, developing, and sharing stories. Create formats and programs that can grow while leaving room to act on unexpected opportunities.
• Measure what resonates: Set clear goals for audience understanding, reach, engagement, sharing, and participation. Use results and feedback from audiences and participants to improve the stories, formats, and programs we build.

You will thrive in this role if you have

• Relevant experience: 12+ years in integrated marketing, content or editorial strategy, customer storytelling, community marketing, or related fields, including significant experience leading complex campaigns and programs.
• Strong story instincts: An ability to spot compelling people, experiences, and outcomes, assess what makes them credible and relevant, and shape a clear narrative for a specific audience.
• An entrepreneurial mindset: A track record of building something from zero to 100, creating momentum through ambiguity, and moving between strategy and hands-on execution.
• Integrated marketing leadership: Proven success connecting content, distribution, and audience participation across channels, with strong planning, production, budget, and project-management skills.
• Creative and editorial judgment: Experience shaping briefs and developing work across formats such as video, social, written stories, and live experiences, with a high bar for quality and audience relevance.
• Communication and influence: Strong writing, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, build alignment, and influence decisions at the executive level.
• Deep cross-functional collaboration: A track record of building programs with Social, Community, Communications, Creative, and other partners, bringing different perspectives together around a shared objective.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience telling stories about AI or emerging technology through concrete human experiences and demonstrated outcomes.
• Experience building customer advocacy, community storytelling, or ambassador programs that surface compelling voices and encourage participation.
• Experience with documentary, editorial, or other storytelling that involves working directly with participants, from initial interviews through production.
• Experience developing local partnerships, events, or community programs and connecting them to broader campaigns.
• Experience managing creative agencies, production partners, and campaign budgets, including scaling successful formats or programs.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about how people use them to work, learn, create, and solve problems.

Workplace & Location

• San Francisco, CA. This role requires a hybrid schedule with an in office requirement from Monday – Wednesday.
