As our Senior UI Designer, you’ll shape how people interact with real, physical devices: the app that pairs with a smart ring, the interface that controls high-end speakers, the screen that shows your heart rate live. Your designs won’t end up in a drawer; you’ll take them from the first client workshop all the way to production, working with international startups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients, side by side with a world-class UX team and developers who genuinely care about design. It’s a permanent, full-time role: fixed monthly salary and full benefits from day one.
We’ve been designing and co-creating connected devices since 2008: wearables, smart audio, and health-tech hardware for clients like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh, backed by investors like a16z and Founders Fund. We’re 60+ people, fully remote, and we’ve been AI-native since before LinkedIn influencers discovered the term. If you’ve ever designed a pairing flow and felt weirdly proud when the LED actually blinked, you already get why we love what we do.
If most of your portfolio consists of websites, branding, or UX work, this probably isn’t the right role for you. We’re looking for a strong visual designer who has meaningfully contributed to at least four commercial iOS or Android apps and can turn wireframes into distinctive, polished interfaces.
This role also won’t suit someone who waits for fully defined requirements or a daily list of tickets. You should be comfortable starting from a loose brief, making sensible assumptions, and owning the visual direction from the first workshop through to production.
Fully remote with an office in Warsaw if walls and coffee machines motivate you, but nobody will ask why you’re not there. Working hours are flexible: most of the team operates between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, and that’s when most meetings happen. Evening calls with US-based clients (up to ~20:00) are part of the rhythm, sometimes a couple of times a week, always planned ahead. You’ll be part of the UX/UI Design chapter for knowledge-sharing and growth, and simultaneously on a project squad led by a PM for day-to-day delivery, working alongside mobile and firmware engineers, QA, and UX designers.
We aim to give you space to ramp up before jumping into live project work, but this is a real company with real deadlines: if a project needs you sooner, we’ll make sure you have the support to hit the ground running. You’ll get paired with a buddy from the design team and take on progressively bigger tasks so both sides can see how the collaboration feels. Feedback comes early and often; no one waits three months to tell you something isn’t working. We believe in fast, honest signals: if it’s great, you’ll know. If something needs adjusting, you’ll hear about it while there’s still time to adjust.
The entire process is in English. All interviews are recorded for internal evaluation purposes.
Once we’re in touch, you’ll hear from us fast. We don’t ghost and we don’t drag.
intent is an equal opportunity employer. We care about what you can do, not where you come from. Send us your CV, your portfolio, and a few words about why this caught your eye. Bonus points if you point us to the project you’re most proud of and tell us why.
