Come join the Marketing Technology Team as a Distinguished Architect & Product Director. The Marketing Technology team is newly formed and growing organization with the objective to govern, build, integrate and manage technologies to support Intuit’s business growth and customer engagement. We support cutting edge capabilities in Marketing including campaign management, customer communications, data & analytics, audience and segmentation, and beyond.

A strong candidate for this role will be a seasoned senior leader with exceptional thought leadership and vision. With this, she/he will combine demonstrated and deep experience in customer focused technical capabilities, including customer engagement, analytics/data science, audience management & segmentation, marketing automation, etc. The candidate regularly scans upcoming technologies to stay up-to-date on the art of the possible in accelerating growth and engagement. She/he has superlative story-telling and communication skills. They establish credibility in their expertise effortlessly, builds collaborative relationships across organizations and balances the urgency of business results with the need for architecture consistency and governance. This leader will have the opportunity to hire the right team to support both architecture and product management roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provides architectural leadership across a number of interdependent engineering teams, architects, systems and offerings
  • Builds a vision and roadmap of a portfolio of marketing technology products to support cross-Intuit business growth & customer engagement
  • Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems
  • Demonstrating technical expertise and leadership across the immediate team and cross-functionally, impacting many different groups and product lines
  • Engages effectively across a network of cross-Intuit peers and customers to meet their technology product needs
  • Key member of the team representing the technology driven opportunities and implications of various business and offering strategies and tactics
  • Masterful technical documentation, presentation and communication skills to articulate architectural and design options, educating development teams and business users.
  • Creating and fostering an environment where your team produces well architected and elegant, web and/or mobile applications
  • Act as an industry thought leader, continuing to share Intuit’s growth story as one of the top SaaS, data-driven, and cloud deployed companies on the web

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience architecting, developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web, data or mobile applications
  • 10+ years’ experience designing and leading architectural efforts for web, data, software or mobile applications
  • Seasoned leadership experience: Applying the nuances of influencing based on the situation, knowing when to push and when to ease, driving through designs, ideas, and roadmaps
  • Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to present to all levels of leadership, including executives
  • Experience in conceptualizing, launching, and driving business and product strategies and multi-year roadmaps
  • Building strong teams – set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent
