In this role, you work closely with your teams and product managers and empower them to develop advanced fraud detection methods (with machine learning/anomaly detection), to stop fraud and account takeovers before it’s too late. You improve our screening and verification processes, in close collaboration with teams throughout the company. You prioritize new initiatives based on new threats and attack patterns as well as business opportunities and own these initiatives end to end across the business. You work closely with other teams in Security and Fraud but also with stakeholders across the whole business and strike a balance between protecting our customers and partners and allowing product development in all areas to match the business growth ambitions.
You’re a strong technical leader with experience in building scalable infrastructure in large organizations and interest in fighting fraud. You are excellent at managing different stakeholders and owning topics across teams and departments. You’re a team player, with a bottom-up approach to developing concepts and products. You have experience working with teams of engineers and data scientists and know-how to apply threat-based prioritization to benefit the business. You’re creative, and always ready to adjust your strategy based on the evolution of threats and business strategy.
